Dr. Salma Parveen joined government service in 2005. She completed her Fellowship (FCPS) in 2006 and was promoted as Junior Consultant in 2013, then as Assistant Professor in 2015. She has performed an average of 500 cataract surgeries every month at district government hospitals since 2007. Currently, she has been promoted as Associate Professor.
🏆 As a single surgeon, it's the highest performance in Bangladesh, and she has been officially declared as a 'Swift Surgeon' by the Government. She started private practice in Gopalganj District in 2007, and after 10 years, started practice at Hikmah Specialized Eye Hospital from 2016.
