Work & Professional Career

Professor Dr. Quazi Maniruzzaman joined government service through the 17th BCS (Health) in 1997. In 2001, he worked as a Junior Resident in Ophthalmology at BSMMU. He joined Dhaka Medical College Hospital in 2003 as Assistant Registrar and later returned to BSMMU in 2005 as Senior Resident in Ophthalmology.

In 2008 & 2009, he completed a long-term fellowship in Cornea and Anterior Segment at Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute & Hospital. He was promoted to Junior Consultant in 2008 and Senior Consultant in 2016 (serving at Noakhali Medical College Hospital).

In 2023, he was promoted to Associate Professor of Ophthalmology & Head of Eye Dept at Noakhali Medical College Hospital and subsequently transferred to Faridpur Medical College & Hospital.

🏥 Now he is serving as Associate Professor (Ophthalmology) and Head of Unit at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMC), Dhaka.
